Nation: Othaala Region: Yavathre Sector Type: Town
Overview
A small, dilapidated town at the base of the Slovaera Mountains where the Klovalmi Hills begin. Outer buildings are thin wood siding on stilts with rotted, sunken roofs; the grass is sparse and weedy; the dirt is brown-gray and muddy. The town has been economically drained, with crops failing and money siphoned off by a corrupt local figure living in notable comfort just outside of town. Arveshia describes it as a troubled place, possibly cursed, though she attributes its misery primarily to this individual. Has a central well, several inns (none of them particularly nice), and a recommended one: the Woodpecker Inn, one street west of Main. Anue and Chuntian spend time here in Book I seeking the person Arveshia sent them to find.

Notes
- Arveshia describes the town as possibly cursed; the more grounded cause is a local figure draining the town's economy
- Compared unfavorably to Thohvaer by Anue upon arrival
