Race: Beastfolk Nation(s): Birumiaka
Physical Traits
Resemble antelope. Descended from the Fourth Faunan King, Junlundi, an antelope whose horns grew to a meter in length. Obemevians have winding horns with many raised bands along their surface, deer-like ears positioned beneath the horns that are more downturned, a straight tail with little fur and a common width of around one and a half inches. Hair is normally a mix of dark brown and light brown, or light brown and white; eyes are extremely dark brown.
Traditional clothing centers on the Kamata, a thin rectangle worn between the horns, sitting on a cylinder attached to the head via chin strap, with extremely long and dense beaded strings hanging to the mid-shin from both ends. Men wear a long cloth wrapped around the shoulders, under the arms, then in rows around the torso and tucked into solid black, white, or navy pants. The cloth's top edge bears continuous geometric stitching in various colors. Women wear similar pants with a sleeved top and a large matching ribbon tied at the stomach; they also wear plentiful beaded and metallic jewelry. Both genders wear raised wooden shoes with two parallel ridges on the base.
