Overview

A holy process created and ordained by Polaena. Those deemed unworthy of entering Her realm upon death are instead cast into Ghoulish form and sent to the swamps of A'Amaer, which houses the Ghoulish population. This is a second chance at proving themselves worthy.

Outcome

If a person redeems themselves in Polaena's eyes during their Ghoulish life, they are "redeemed" and admitted to Her realm upon their second death. If they fail a second time, they are cast to the Lowworld for an era.

Notes

• Considered an ongoing, living process rather than a historical event. Redemption is the perpetual mechanism governing the Ghoulish afterlife
• The nation of A'Amaer exists specifically to house and facilitate this process
