Polaena

Tier: Supreme God Element: All Parent/Origin: None

Overview

Polaena is the mother god of Alatrya and the supreme divine being of the Polaenian faith, the only entity in existence with absolute omnipotence. She is the creator of the land and its peoples, and the originator of the ten elemental powers held by her children. Known throughout Alatryan churches as "The One," "She," or similar semi-ambiguous titles. She created the mortal races at the beginning of the Conception Era and authored the Book of Alemaris, given to every first mortal as guidance. She later returned her voice to the world in 270 c.e., delivering the books Sinin, Ponashi, and Leneles to every nation simultaneously in their own languages.

Her ten children are five sons and five daughters, each governing one of the ten elements: Faemelia (Water), Kashtet (Fire), Dvanithe (Earth), Vathem (Wind), Gyoledt (Electricity), Lavi (Nature), Arveshia (Shadow), Ulmanae (Light), Seville (Magnetism), and Erimevia (Healing).

The ten elemental Gems were created with the help of her personal gemsmith, a past Dragonkin named Lovitavo, and placed across the land to broadcast elemental mana to the entire world.
