Overview

Vathem is the God of Wind and the fourth of Polaena's ten children. He is the sibling whose desire to share his power with his betrothed, an Angel named Trovia, set in motion the original creation of the ten elemental Gems and the distribution of magic to the mortal world. He is described by Arveshia as stubborn and disinclined to speak to mortals; she had to force him to make contact with Chuntian Zhenfung, his Gemwielder. Chuntian notes that once he did begin speaking to her, Trovia objected to him talking to other women, which he apparently heeded.
