A collective term for the eight sovereign nations of the Alatryan surface, each home to one of the eight mortal races. Together they constitute the primary political landscape of the continent.

• Huozhi — nation of the Demons
• Qauta — nation of the Fairies
• Herat — nation of the Angels
• A'Amaer — nation of the Ghouls
• Almania — nation of the Dragonkin
• Birumiaka — nation of the Beastfolk

Notes

• The Lowworld (Prylkya) exists beneath the surface and is not counted among the eight
• Ghouls are a transformed state rather than a race in the biological sense; A'Amaer's population is composed of individuals reborn through the Risen process
