Overview

Qauta is the nation of the Fairies, situated in the northern portion of Alatrya. Its capital, Rrroma, is an extremely large city in the Obbestra region and seat of the Qautan monarchy. Qauta is a cold northern nation bordered by the Shoneng Mountains and Orbev Mountains, with frozen landscapes including the Follicce Snowdunes and the Great Ice Crystal Forest near the North Kalvenavian Ocean. Three early Faeric nations — Alkta, Nnasse, and Tasema — preceded Qauta, consolidating in the early Golden Era.

Geography (Notable)

The Shoneng Mountains and Orbev Mountains define the southern border. The Slobeska River, Nnasse River, and Alkta River flow through the interior. The Follicce Snowdunes and Rungon Snowdunes characterize the northern landscape. Forests include the Ssolli Forest, Slobeska Forest, Dalesce Forest, and Tranast Forest. The Great Ice Crystal Forest is a notable geographic feature near Qantua.

History

Three earlier Faeric nations — Alkta, Nnasse, and Tasema — preceded and eventually consolidated into Qauta after the Faeric people gained independence from Demonic occupation in the early Bygone Era. The celebration of this independence, the Cauntalli:re Porava, remains the nation's most culturally significant holiday. The rivers Nnasse River and Alkta River are named for two of the founding nations.

• Coronation Day of the current monarch is a national celebration; towns hold parades or displays of dancing and theatre followed by a district-wide feast held in open plains outside city limits
• Cauntalli:re Porava ("The Day of Founding") is held on the 25th of Czenilevr; it coincides with the national finals of Asyulani, a Faeric aerial sport where Wind-attuned players pass a ball while flying and attempt to throw it through a large ovular goal ring. Teams compete from Qantua, Mmenazh, Sfalncha, Zlanqin, Rrroma, and Amerrnikt
