Humans

Overview

Humans are the primary race of Frithre, occupying the central-western portion of Alatrya. Anatomically identical to Terran Humans and the most physically unremarkable of the Alatryan races, they compensate with broad geographic spread and political history. The three Human kingdoms of the Conception Era, Godalosvia, the Kingdom of Navakeveia, and Nabatia, eventually consolidated into the modern nation of Frithre.

Physical Traits

Identical to Terran Humans. Median height range 5' 4" to 5' 9". No distinguishing anatomical features beyond hair, skin, and eye color variation by ethnicity.

Element Attunement

Varies from ethnicity to ethnicity with regards to the dominant attunement.

Society & Culture

Human society developed early urban centers and formalized legal systems, with Godascher becoming the continent's first major trade hub. They developed the first stone bridge of scale and were among the first to codify labor rights. By the Magician's Era, Frithre is a significant continental power though currently under pressure from the Huozhese invasion in Book II.

• Godalosvians — most populous; distributed across major Frithre cities; white-toned skin; brown, blue, or gray eyes; blonde or light brown hair
• Tuithes — Tuithe'la'nat; tan skin; brown hair; light brown or gray eyes
• Nabati — Nabat; brown skin; ginger hair; blue or green eyes; can also be called Nahatians, from Nahat, a translation error in most other languages
• Navaki — Navakeve; dark skin; black hair; dark brown or black eyes
• Ya'kalians — Ya'kali; light skin; blue eyes; brown or light brown hair

Notes

• The Nabati/Nahatian naming discrepancy came during a time of more rapid expansion of Humans across the continent, and multiple languages switched the 'b' for an 'h', a translation error that has lead to a dual name, unofficially.
